The fourth graders have been learning how to use the Paint.net on the computers for the last part of the school year in computer class. We’ve learned about layers and using effects to make a great project.

1. Click on this link Google Images

2. Type what you are looking for in the box and click Search.

3. Click on the image you like.

4. When the image comes up RIGHT click on it and choose SAVE PICTURE AS.

5. This box will come up:

Click the down triangle by My Pictures.

6. From the list choose: Programs on UES1 P, then Homework, then Mrs. Muench, and last your class.  Please double check your class is in the box before you go to the next step. If you save your file in the wrong place it will be erased!

7. In the file name box type in your name and the number 1 (You’ll use the number 2 for the next image and so on.)

8. Click Save.

I just took the typing test again today. I’ve increased my score! Can you beat it?

We are going to try something new today. On the side under “Sites We Use” is a link to a place called Edmodo. Please click on it using the RIGHT mouse button (this is not the one you usually use) and choose “Open in a New tab”. This will let you have my webpage open and the Edmodo site too.

1. On the Edmodo site you need to click on the “I’m a Student” button.
2. The code you need to enter is.  Mrs. Muench has removed the code. Please see her during typing class if you still need it.
   
3. You need to create a user name. Please use the same one we use at school.
4. Create your own password. Make it one you will remember!!!
5. Do NOT enter an email address!
6. Put in your first and last name
7. Click the sign up button.
