The 5th grade field trip is Thursday, May 17.  Students need to bring a sack lunch with them for the trip.  Please do not send pop.  Students are not allowed to bring electronic devices on the trip with them.  Students should wear long pants since we will be walking through the woods.

Registration Forms

Forms to register at Iroquois West for the 2012-2013 school year have been sent home but if you’ve misplaced your forms they can also be accessed on our district webpage. Follow this link (http://wp.iwest.k12.il.us/district/registration-forms/) to find the forms you are missing.

Don’t forget all forms are due back by May 11.

All schools will dismiss one hour early on Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

Long Weekend

Thursday, April 5, 2012 will be a 1/2 day of student attendance with out lunch.
DES will begin dismissal at 11:10
GES and UES will begin dismissal at 11:15
MS will begin dismissal at 11:30
HS will begin dismissal at 11:45

There will be no school on Friday April 6, 2012 or Monday April 9, 2012.

Spring Break

Our World Math Day Results

On March 6 and 7 the students at IWUES took part in the World Math Day competition on the internet at www.worldeducationgames.com. We had been practicing on the site for about 3 weeks before the actual competition. Each game was 60 seconds of math questions geared to the student’s age.  Many of the kids were amazed to see that they got to practice and compete with other students from all over the world!
