TRACK:  Congratulations to Clayton Leonard for finishing 4th in state in the discus and all of the athletes who competed this weekend at State!  Great job!!!  The awards party will be on Tuesday, May 22nd from 3:30 – 5:30.  There will be pizza and games until 5. Then, the parents are invited for the awards ceremony at 5 pm.  

Mr. Lustfeldt’s Classes – Please bring headphones to class today. 6th grade students bring colored pencils as well and any extra work you have (check homework calendar).

LIBRARY:  Come to the library and  pay 10 Raider bucks for a chance to pop a balloon on the board and win posters, candy, grabbag stuff and homework passes. So round up your Raider bucks and see what you can win. if you have more questions see Mrs. Dieken.  The Good Work Board will be ready again tomorrow for all students.

Art Club :  Any art club students who would like to take their work home from this year, please stop by Mrs. Sattler’s room and pick up your artwork before school is done for the year.

7th Grade: The 7th grade field trip is this Thursday (May 24).  The chartered buses will leave Onarga only at 7:45 a.m. sharp on Thursday.  Please arrive around 7:30 a.m. and coordinate rides as needed.  You will not be taking your regular transportation to or from school on Thursday!  Also, please don’t forget to either pack a lunch or bring money for lunch!

8th Grade:  If you would like a class picture, you have until Tuesday, May 22nd to order.  The pictures are $10. Please see the office.

Summer Camps- Please see Coach Denny if you need information about girls volleyball camp, girls basketball camp, boys basketball camp, or youth football camp.

Summer Plans:  KCC is offering a four-day Cavalier Camp for students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.  This camp will introduce students to careers such as nursing and technical nursing jobs. The cost per student is $110 for all four days.  Also, KCC is offering a Girl’s Science and Technology Camp for middle school aged students. There are four camps and each camp costs $55 to attend.  See the information center for more info.

Crayons for FFA:  If you would be so kind, go home and find any old pieces of crayons laying around.  Our High School FFA team is collecting these remnants to melt down and donate to charities.  Thanks for any contribution to this worthy cause!

Yearbooks:  If you would like a yearbook, the cost is $14 and there are forms to order in the office.  

Cafeteria:  There will be no salad bar for the rest of the year!

Happy Birthday:  Happy belated birthday to Cesar Andrade on Thursday.  Happy birthday today to Reagan Davis. Please wish Mrs. Van a happy birthday!!!
