TRACK:  Congratulations to all state qualifiers from IWMS:  Clayton Leonard = discus, Cannon Leonard = discus, Samantha Hartke = 800 and 1600m, Trystyn Schacht = hurdles, Evan Rogers = hurdles.  Great job and way to represent, ladies and gentlemen. Practice for state qualifiers only this week.

Wednesday = bring uniforms to school for a team picture. Athletes need to answer the question on google classroom.Remember Friday = state qualifiers will miss school for the state track meet.  The awards party will be on Tuesday, May 22nd from 3:30 – 5:30.  There will be pizza and games until 5. Then, the parents are invited for the awards ceremony at 5 pm.  If you ordered a track Sectional shirt, please pick it up from Mrs. Buck ASAP!!!  See her in her room. Uniforms need to be turned in by Friday.   

LIBRARY:  Don’t forget that for 10 Raider bucks you can purchase a chance for prizes on the ‘KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK’  board in the library. Pay 10 Raider bucks for a chance to pop a balloon on the board and win posters, candy, grabbag stuff and homework passes. So round up your Raider bucks and see what you can win. if you have more questions see Mrs. Dieken.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Art Club :  Any art club students who would like to take their work home from this year, please stop by Mrs. Sattler’s room and pick up your artwork before school is done for the year. Also, 8th grade art club will meet on Thursday until 4:30pm.

6th Grade:  There are still 4 students that need to turn in their field trip permission slips to Mr. Kimmel or Mr. Torbeck ASAP!  Don’t forget that the field trip is Friday.  

Locker Rocker Reward:  The Locker Rocker reward will take place today.  If you qualified, you need to have your permission slip turned in along with $10.  The bus will be leaving around 9 and we will announce when you need to report to the gym lobby for departure.  Have fun today and enjoy the ball game.

Summer Camps- Please see Coach Denny if you need information about girls volleyball camp, girls basketball camp, boys basketball camp, or youth football camp.

Summer Plans:  KCC is offering a four-day Cavalier Camp for students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.  This camp will introduce students to careers such as nursing and technical nursing jobs. The cost per student is $110 for all four days.  Also, KCC is offering a Girl’s Science and Technology Camp for middle school aged students. There are four camps and each camp costs $55 to attend.  See the information center for more info.

Crayons for FFA:  If you would be so kind, go home and find any old pieces of crayons laying around.  Our High School FFA team is collecting these remnants to melt down and donate to charities.  Thanks for any contribution to this worthy cause!
