BOYS BASKETBALL:  The Raiders will play in the semifinal round in the Twin County Conference Tournament tonight.  The 7th grade will play PBL at 6:45 in Cullom. The 8th grade will play will also play PBL at 6:45 at Piper City. Bus time for both teams will be 5:15.  Good luck tonight, gentlemen!!!

Wrestling: Practice tonight from 3:30-6:00pm.

Volleyball: Tonight:  7th Grade Classroom Practice in Mrs. Carley’s room from 3:30-5:30 p.m.  Wednesday:  Practice from 6:00-7:30 a.m. in Onarga.

PE: Health today in the multipurpose room today .

Scholastic Bowl: There will be a sign up sheet on the office door today. Please sign up if interested!

Art Club: 6th grade art club meets Wednesday after school until 4:30. Make sure you have a ride.

Keyboarding: Please bring headphones to class today.

Mr. Lustfeldt’s Classes – Bring colored pencils to class!

Library:  Due to the overwhelming number of overdue books and book fines, as of tomorrow ( Wed.) you will no longer be able to check out  a book in the library if you have an overdue book or a fine.  IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO RETURN BOOKS ON TIME AND PAY ANY FINES YOU OWE.  Once you’ve taken care of what you owe you may check out books again.

Library:   We are looking for your favorite books for the ‘BRIGHT READS FOR THE HOLIDAYS’ board in the library. Drop by the library and write the title of your favorite book, the author and your name on a Christmas light and we will put it on the board. At the end of the quarter we will do a random drawing and 3 lucky winners will get a gift card for McDonald’s.

Fannie May candy money is due on December 18.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Don’t Punt; Go For It:  Here is today’s Christmas fact:  The British wear paper crowns while they eat Christmas dinner. The crowns are stored in a tube called a “Christmas cracker.  In Poland, spiders or spider webs are common Christmas trees decorations because according to legend, a spider wove a blanket for Baby Jesus. In fact, Polish people consider spiders to be symbols of goodness and prosperity at Christmas.
